The University of Nottingham is pleased to offer scholarships for Japanese Students. These scholarships are available to start a full-time masters degree programme, including MRes, at Nottingham in September 2018, any subject area.
The aim of the scholarship is strengthen the bond of Japan and UK.

EU and International students whose first language is not English are required to have an appropriate grade/score in an approved examination in English language (such as IELTS) Academic) before they can register on an academic programme.

Scholarship Description:

  • Application deadline:  May 18, 2018
  • Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing master’s degree.
  • Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the subjects offered by the university.
  • Scholarship Award: These scholarships will cover 25% each towards tuition fees for students from Japan.
  • Number of Scholarships: There are five scholarships are available.
  • Nationality: Japan
  • Scholarship can be taken in the UK

Eligibility for the Scholarship:

  • Eligible Countries: Citizens of Japan can apply for these scholarships.
  • Entrance Requirements: Applicants can apply for this scholarship if you:
    • are a national of (or permanently domiciled in) Japan
    • are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes
    • already have, or expect to receive, a final CGPA of no less than 3.2/grade B or 70%
    • already hold an offer to start a full-time masters degree programme (excluding MRes) at Nottingham in September 2018, any subject area.
