ATZUM Abe and Gert Nutkis (AGN) Scholarship in Israel, 2018-2019
ATZUM is pleased to offer Abe and Gert Nutkis (AGN) scholarship for the academic year 2018-2019. Scholarships are available for Israeli citizens enrolled in full-time, degree or certificate granting, co-educational programs.
ATZUM was established to remedy injustices in Israeli society and encourage individuals to become social activists and agents of change.
Preference will be given to students who demonstrate a prior commitment to volunteer work addressing urgent human need or human rights violations; have completed national service or its equivalent, or served in the IDF; and demonstrate financial need.
Scholarship Description:

- Course Level: Scholarships are available for students enrolled in full-time, degree or certificate granting, co-educational programs.
- Study Subject: Applicant will work on combatting and resolving social problems and social justice crises.List of Subjects: ATZUM’s current projects include:Task Force on Human TraffickingRoberta Project for Survivors of TerrorRighteous Among the NationsTAKUM Beit MidrashProject Abrah
- Scholarship Award: Scholarships of eight to twelve thousand NIS will be awarded to no more than seven applicants.

Eligibility for the Scholarship:
- Eligible Countries: Israeli citizens can apply for these scholarships.
- Entrance Requirements: Israeli citizens/residents 21-30 enrolled in full-time, degree or certificate granting, co-educational programs of study in Israel. Additionally, applicants must perform seven hours weekly volunteer service throughout the academic year with ATZUM or an ATZUM approved project.
